A few weeks ago, I asked my online friends to name their online heroes. Some responded that Seth Godin was their online hero, while others named yours truly (I appreciate the gesture, by the way…. and no I didn’t pay a friend to throw my name into the online hero hat!) I took a browse through all of my online networks (Facebook, Myspace, LinkedIn, Twitter, blogs, etc etc) and decided that Paul Krzeminski is my online hero. On my Facebook wall he posted:
“MY MOM IS MY ONLINE HERO! SHE OVER CAME A BRIAN TUMOR! SHE IS STILL WORKING EVERYDAY!”
The post ended up sparking up some great conversation about how heroes are around us everyday (even though we may keep up with many of our closest friends online!). Reading Paul’s post, it was nice to have a friendly reminder to celebrate the people who inspire us to do more, and to strive for greatness.

I am so interested to know the answer to this. I am amazed at the impact that people have on one another.
I have to say my mom as well. She has been such a huge help to me over the past few years.
